What this site collects, and what happens to it.

Information you send us

When you use the contact form, the free website check form, or the booking link, you choose to give us your name, email address, business name, phone number if you include it, your website address, and whatever you write in the message. We use it to reply to you, to prepare for a call you book, and to run the free check you asked for. We do not sell it, rent it, or add it to a marketing list without asking you first.

Form submissions are stored in a database in our Google Firebase account and emailed to our business inbox on Google Workspace. Both are under our control. We keep inquiries for as long as we might reasonably work together and delete them on request.

Information collected automatically

This site uses Google Analytics to understand which pages people read and which actions they take, such as tapping a phone number or submitting a form. Google Analytics sets cookies and records your IP address, which we configure it to shorten, along with your browser, device type, approximate location and the pages you visit. We use the reports to improve the site. We do not use this data to identify you personally.

Our web host, Google Firebase Hosting, keeps standard server logs for security and reliability. The booking page, when you open it, is run by the scheduling provider named on the page under its own privacy policy.

You can block analytics cookies with your browser settings or with Google's opt-out browser add-on, and the site works the same without them.

Who else handles the data

Google (Firebase, Workspace, Analytics) for storage, email and analytics; our scheduling provider for bookings you make; and, if you become a client, the tools named in your scope document. Each acts as a processor on our instructions. We do not share your information with anyone else unless the law requires it.

Your choices

Email koconnell@prepwellconsulting.com to see what we hold about you, to correct it, or to have it deleted. We answer within ten business days. If you are a resident of a state or country with specific privacy rights, we honor those rights on request.

Children

This site is for business owners and is not directed at anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it. Material changes are noted on this page for 30 days.
